Let’s Create Something Together
The custom process letterpress wedding invitations maui hawaii
Wedding planning should be fun, and I want designing your invitations to be the best part!
Kelly and Lauren
a floral letterpress suite with modern typography and romantic details
Design Details: This custom letterpress wedding invitation suite was inspired by the flowers in bloom in Italy, where Kelly and Lauren got engaged. We created hand-drawn floral illustrations and used them to design a four-color, overprinted save the date. The floral motif carries through the entire suite, which was printed on double-thick cotton paper for a luxurious, tactile finish.
Evan and Emily
Warm neutrals, and custom venue illustrations
Design Details: Every piece of Evan and Emily’s wedding paper was designed with intention. From the custom illustration of Carmel to get guests excited about a weekend on the central coast, to the diamond border on their info trifold, reminiscent of the Spanish tile details seen throughout their venue.
Nyssa and Erik
a vibrant sunset-inspired wedding invitation suite
Design Details: For their destination wedding, Nyssa and Erik envisioned bright, tropical-inspired stationery filled with color and personality. We designed a three-color letterpress invitation that captures the glow of a beachside sunset, inspired by the evenings Nyssa spent watching the sun dip below the ocean near her home. The tropical wedding theme continued through a quad-fold weekend itinerary, giving each guest a vibrant and cohesive look at the celebration ahead.

The Custom Process
Step 1: Let’s Chat!
Fill out the form below and tell me about your wedding. A full vision or just a few Pinterest saves, both work great. We can talk by phone, email, or mood board, whatever’s easiest. If my work feels like you, we’ll make something great together. If it doesn’t, no hard feelings! From there I’ll send a ballpark on cost, some initial ideas, and a timeline.
Step 2: Let’s Get Designing
If you like everything we discuss, and you want to move forward, sign the contract, put down a 50% retainer, and you’re officially on my calendar! Then the fun starts. I’ll spend about four weeks sketching and brainstorming ideas.
Step 3: First Look and Fine Tuning
I’ll send over your first concepts, and we’ll tweak colors, wording, and all the little details together until everything feels just right. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like. Custom clients get unlimited rounds of revisions because I want every piece to be exactly what you want.
Step 4: Approval
Once you’re happy with the design, I’ll send final proofs to check one last time. If everything looks perfect, it goes to press!
Step 5: Printing!
Printing generally takes 3-4 weeks to complete, with add ons such as edge painting requiring more time. Everything is printed in-house by Greta, my 1913 Golding Pearl.
Step 6: Delivery
Hooray, your invites are done! I’ll pack everything carefully and send it to you, or straight to your guests, safely and on time.
Step 7: Day of Details
Want the same look to carry through your wedding day? I can design cocktail napkins, signage, menus, programs, and more to match. Getting married on Maui? I’ll deliver day-of pieces myself, so there’s no shipping to worry about.
The Breakdown
4 months
That’s about how long a custom suite takes, from our first chat to your guests receiving their invitation in the mail. I recommend booking about a year before your wedding, so there’s plenty of time to design, tweak, and not feel rushed.
$5000
That’s the average for 100 save the dates plus invitation suites. Every suite is different, so I’ll put together a custom quote based on what you choose. Most custom invitation projects start at $3500.
Letterpress is a labor of love, and it’s priced that way. If custom isn’t in the budget, my semi-custom collection gives you the same handmade feel at a lower starting point.

I love carrying your design all the way through your wedding weekend. Itineraries, programs, menus, table numbers, signs, napkins: if it’s paper, I’ve got you covered. And if it’s not paper, I’m always up for trying something new, so if you have fun ideas in mind, bring it on. Those are my favorite projects!
Our Day-of Design starts at $1500.
